The RAG Assessment is a leadership resilience tool developed through doctoral research at Curtin University by Dr Theone Conradie. RAG stands for the three outcome zones — Red (Urgent Attention Required), Amber (Developing), and Green (Leading Well).

It measures your resilience across five dimensions: Mindset, Conscience, Reflective Practice, Connection, and Wellbeing. The assessment gives you a personalised score, a breakdown of your strengths and gaps, and a development pathway to help you grow as a leader.

The assessment lives on the RAG Assessment platform at ragassessment.com. Simply create a free account, and you'll be guided straight into the assessment. It takes around 10–15 minutes to complete.

Yes — taking the assessment is completely free. You'll receive your overall score and resilience band (Red, Amber, or Green) at no cost.

To access your full results — including your breakdown across all five dimensions, subdomain scores, Executive Diagnostic, and PDF report — you'll need to upgrade to the Unlock plan ($29.99 one-time) or Full Access ($39.99/month).

Most people complete the assessment in 10 to 15 minutes. It consists of 50 questions across the five RAG dimensions, each answered on a simple Never / Sometimes / Always scale. There are no trick questions — just honest reflection on how you lead.

The RAG community is a separate (and free) space for leaders to connect, share experiences, and learn from each other. It lives here on this platform and is organised into three groups — Individuals, Leaders, and Coaches.

The community is a great starting point if you want to explore the RAG framework before committing to the full assessment. The assessment itself is where you get your personalised data and development plan.

Yes — the community lives here on the Kajabi member portal (members.ragassessment.com) and the assessment platform is at ragassessment.com. They are two separate accounts.

If you joined through the community first, when you click through to take the assessment your email will be pre-filled to make the signup as fast as possible. Both accounts use your same email address.

Your overall score sits in one of three bands:

• Red (0–49) — Urgent Attention Required. Your resilience reserves are significantly depleted. Without structured intervention, sustained performance becomes difficult to maintain.
• Amber (50–74) — Developing. You have resilience foundations in place but key dimensions need attention to sustain your leadership over time.
• Green (75–100) — Leading Well. Your resilience is strong across most dimensions. The focus here is maintaining and deepening what's working.

Each band comes with specific recommendations, development pathways, and AI coaching conversations designed for your exact profile.

The RAG Model measures leadership resilience across five evidence-based dimensions:

• Mindset — How you process pressure, setbacks, and challenge. Your cognitive flexibility and growth orientation under stress.
• Conscience — Your values alignment and ethical integrity. How consistently you act from your principles, especially under pressure.
• Reflective Practice — Your capacity to pause, learn from experience, and turn reflection into changed behaviour.
• Connection — How well you build and sustain trust, psychological safety, and meaningful relationships in your leadership context.
• Wellbeing — How effectively you sustain your energy, recovery, and physical-emotional health under leadership demands.

The Psychological Safety Index (PSI) is an indicative score derived from specific subdomains within your results — it is not directly measured as a standalone dimension. It gives you a sense of the psychological safety conditions you create as a leader.

Because it is derived rather than directly measured, the PSI is always labelled as indicative and is not shown alongside your five core RAG dimension scores in comparative charts.

Yes — you can cancel your Full Access subscription at any time with no lock-in period. Your results and assessment history are saved permanently regardless of whether you cancel. If you cancel, your account reverts to the free tier and you retain access to your overall score and band.

To cancel, go to your account settings on the Kajabi member portal at members.ragassessment.com.

Yes — the Unlock My Results plan is a single one-time payment of $29.99. There is no recurring charge. You get permanent access to your full results, subdomain breakdown, Executive Diagnostic, PDF report, and RAG Assessment Community for as long as the platform exists.

If a payment fails you'll receive an email notification immediately with instructions to update your payment details. Your access remains active during a short grace period. If the payment is not resolved within 3 days, your account will be downgraded to the free tier until the issue is resolved.

The AI Insights Coach is a conversational coaching tool that already knows your RAG results. Unlike a generic chatbot, every conversation is pre-loaded with context from your specific scores — your lowest dimensions, your subdomain breakdown, and your development stage.

Rather than starting from a blank chat window, the coach opens with targeted questions based on your exact profile. It can help you explore what a low score means in practice, build a recovery habit, work through a leadership challenge, or prepare for your next reassessment.

The AI coach is included with Full Access. You can access it from your RAG dashboard.

The 90-day development pathway is a structured growth plan generated from your results. It breaks your development into three phases — each focused on a specific dimension, with weekly actions, reflection questions, and sprint goals.

The pathway updates based on your check-ins and AI coach conversations, so it stays relevant as you grow. Included with Full Access.

Full Access members can reassess every 60 days. This window is intentional — it gives you enough time to do meaningful development work before measuring again. Reassessing too frequently doesn't allow genuine change to occur.

After your second assessment, your dashboard shows a before/after comparison across all five dimensions — one of the most powerful and motivating moments on the platform.

There are five courses — one for each RAG dimension — available to Full Access members. Each course is self-paced and built around the doctoral research underpinning the RAG model. They provide practical frameworks, exercises, and tools to help you close the gaps identified in your assessment.

There are three free community spaces — all completely free to join with no credit card required:

• Individuals — for anyone on a personal resilience and leadership journey. Open to all.
• Leaders — for leaders at any level looking to connect with peers navigating the same challenges.
• Coaches — for practitioners who use evidence-based tools with their clients.

There is also the RAG Assessment Community — a paid space included with Unlock and Full Access — which gives access to all six dimension discussion spaces and more structured content.

Log in to the member portal at members.ragassessment.com and click Community in the navigation. You'll see the community spaces you have access to based on your membership.

If you're a paid RAG member, you can also access the community directly from your RAG dashboard via the Community tab in the sidebar.

Yes — all community spaces are moderated by the People Capital Consultants team. We aim to keep all spaces respectful, honest, and focused on leadership resilience. The communities are designed to feel like a safe space where leaders can be genuinely open about the challenges they face.

First, check which platform you're trying to log in to — the assessment platform (ragassessment.com) and the member portal (members.ragassessment.com) are separate and have separate login pages.

Yes. Your assessment data and results are private to you. We do not share individual results with third parties. If you are participating in an organisational cohort, your coach may be able to see your results — this will be made clear to you before you begin.

Anonymised, aggregated data may be used for ongoing research purposes to improve the RAG model — never individual-level data.

After purchasing Full Access, your courses are available in the Kajabi library at members.ragassessment.com/library. You can also access them directly from your RAG dashboard via the Courses tab in the sidebar — clicking through will log you into Kajabi automatically with no second login required.

Occasionally there can be a short delay (usually less than a minute) between completing a purchase and your access being updated on the RAG platform. Try refreshing your dashboard at ragassessment.com/dashboard.
